Dogstival, the UK’s festival for dogs and dog lovers, is set to go ahead at a new venue of Burley Park, New Forest, UK on the 5th and 6th of September.
The festival was supposed to take place earlier in the year at Pylewell Park but was postponed due to the pandemic. The venue change to the Burley Park was due to the lack of availability of last year’s venue Pylewell Park.

Dogstival had its debut last year and saw a crowd of over 10,000 dog lovers at Pylewell Park.
The show is set to feature entertainment for dogs and humans including the Dogstival Main Arena which includes demonstrations and displays designed to showcase the astonishing talents of the four-legged superstars. It will also feature the Rockwood Dog Display Team. They’ll take everyone through every aspect of dog training from obedience performed to music, as well as a dog and duck show.
Furthermore, there will be a live acoustic stage, a ‘dog house’ behavorial stage, the K9 Aquasports dock and dive pool, a healthy hound den, paddle boarding at the event pool, stallholders and of course, food and drink.

Dogstival has emphasized that it will be taking safety precautions due to the ongoing pandemic, including a maximum capacity limit based on safe social distancing.

Commentary
Last year, Rocky the Traveller was invited to the inaugural Dogstival in May 2019. We showed up on the second day of the event and enjoyed meeting the stallholders, trying the food and drink, watching the dogs play in the agility ring and of course, meeting tons of dogs. I highly recommend going to this event and support similar events that showcase the best of the world of dogs and is made for dogs and dog lovers.

We hope to pay a visit to the event this year while keeping as safe as we could possibly could. To check out Rocky’s little adventure last year, see below.
