Who doesn’t love a jolly old Christmas song to ring in the festive season? A great Christmas song can fill us with joy and lift our spirits. Now our furry canine friends get to also experience the Christmas joy through their very own Christmas pop song made just for dogs.
Tails.com is making music history by releasing a Christmas song made just for dogs.
“When we all need a bit more feel-good in our lives, this song puts our dogs centre stage,” Tails.com stated. “It’s based on sounds and noises dogs enjoy – we call it ‘waggae’ – reggae designed to wag tails.”
The song is called ‘Raise the Woof!’
Tails.com based its song on scientific research, including having music producers play over 500 sounds to 25 dogs in a digital focus group. The resulting track was then mastered at London’s famous Abbey Road Studios.
The song is also aiming to help out a good cause. The song is helping Dudes and Dogs, based in Bristol. With plans to go nationwide, their aim is to help get men out in the fresh air together for a walk and a talk with their dogs to help relieve mental health pressures.
For those who can’t wait to celebrate Christmas and want to listen to with their dogs, the song is free to stream and download here.
It is also available on Spotify, Vimeo, YouTube and Apple Music for free.
There is also a limited-edition vinyl that can be purchased here and all proceeds go to Dudes and Dogs.
